The Real Cure is a Dorset-based brand crafting artisanal British charcuterie using traditional curing methods and sustainably-sourced British meat. This is a finely cured beef made from high-quality British grass-fed beef silverside, seasoned with a blend of aromatic herbs including bay leaves and rosemary, and washed in red wine. The long ageing process combined with the highest quality grass fed beef makes this a very special product, with a rich, earthy flavour and tender texture. Serve it over fresh salad with rocket and Parmesan, or enjoy it on a charcuterie board with olives and crusty bread.
ABOUT THE MAKER
The Real Cure began in 2014 in the Dorset countryside, founded by James Smart, who wanted to craft artisanal British charcuterie using wild and free-range meats. Specialising in slow-cured meats, they focus on traditional techniques and locally-sourced ingredients. Their mission is to celebrate British charcuterie while supporting sustainable farming and ethical sourcing.
