We are a platform to buy the best independent food and drink, all in your pocket. Hundreds of makers are dropping their products on DELLI, and we curate the best selection for you every day.

From micro bakers to pickle purveyors, small-batch olive oil producers and drink makers, we’re stocked with the niche and the essential.

Independent means unique, but don’t worry, all our makers are registered food businesses. Start shopping independently today.

We work to bring new, independent food, nation-wide. And we offer one fixed shipping fee, no matter how full your basket. Go wild!

HOW DO I BUY ON DELLI?

Buying on DELLI is super simple: just browse the site or our mobile app, select the products you love and that’s it! Once you’ve placed your order, our hard-working team will handle the rest. Make sure you keep an eye on your email for order updates, and if you have any questions, shoot us an email at support@delli.market.

DO I NEED TO HAVE AN ACCOUNT?

No! You don’t need to set up an account to shop on DELLI!

HOW DO I REDEEM A GIFTCARD ON DELLI?

Redeeming your DELLI gift card is easy! Gift card codes are sent to your email as they’re digital. When you’re ready to checkout, simply enter the code in the designated field, and the value will be applied to your order.

CAN I ADD A GIFT MESSAGE?

Yes, you are able to add a gift message at checkout. If you have already placed your order, we are able to add the gift message provided your order hasn’t been packed yet. If you’ve already received tracking details, this means the order has been packed and is on its way. For any assistance, simply contact us at support@delli.market!

WHAT SHOULD I DO IF A PRODUCT I WANT IS OUT OF STOCK?

If a product you love is our of stock, don’t worry — DELLI products are in high-demand meaning they sell out and re-stock regularly. You usually don’t have to wait too long. Be the first to know when it’s back by: signing up for notifications by clicking NOTIFY ME on the product page. In the meantime, enjoy discovering other products on DELLI.

IS IT SAFE TO BUY ON DELLI?

Yes! Whilst our makers are small, they’re regulated. All DELLI makers must be registered as a food business, and are required to follow food hygiene standards.

I HAVE AN ALLERGY, HOW DO I KNOW WHAT I CAN ORDER?

Your safety is our top priority. Each product on DELLI includes detailed information provided by the seller, including ingredients and potential allergens. Be sure to check the product descriptions carefully before placing your order. However, due to the small-scale operations of many of our producers, products may also contain traces of the common allergens (gluten, crustaceans, eggs, fish, peanuts, soybeans, milk, nuts, celery, mustard, sesame, sulphur dioxide/sulphites, lupin, molluscs). If you have severe sensitivities or allergies, please contact the maker directly to confirm the latest ingredients and/or potential traces of allergens before you place your order.

I CAN’T FIND MY ORDER CONFIRMATION

No worries! First, check your spam or junk folder — it might have ended up in there. If you still can’t find it, just drop us a message at support@delli.market with your name, the email address you used to place the order, the order number (if you have it!) and your postcode, and we’ll resend the confirmation ASAP.

HOW CAN I CHANGE MY ORDER?

We understand that plans can change. While we’re unable to add items to your order, we can help with removing an item or cancelling your order - providing it hasn’t been packed yet. If you’ve already received tracking details, this means the order has been packed and is on its way. For any other assistance, simply contact us at support@delli.market!

WHAT IF THERE IS SOMETHING WRONG WITH MY ORDER WHEN IT ARRIVES?

We are sorry this happened! But don’t worry, we are here for you. Get in touch with us at support@delli.market with your order number and photo proof and let’s resolve it.

WHAT IF MY ORDER DOESN’T ARRIVE?

We’re so sorry that your order didn’t arrive! Contact us at support@delli.market so that we can help to locate your parcel.

I ORDERED A BAKED GOOD, WHEN WILL I RECEIVE IT?

Our baked goods are baked fresh to order, so you will receive these separately for top quality. Please read the important information below:

Papo’s Bagels

  • Shipped once a week. Orders received before Monday at 8am will be delivered by DPD on Friday. If you have ordered other items on DELLI, you will receive your order in two shipments, so you don't need to wait too long! You’ll receive order updates by email to track the delivery.

Good in Bread

  • Shipped twice a week. Orders placed by 8am Monday will be delivered on Wednesday. Orders placed by 8am Wednesday are delivered on Friday.

Other bakes

  • Shipped twice a week. Orders placed by 8am Monday will be delivered on Wednesday. Orders placed by 8am Wednesday are delivered on Friday.
WHEN SHOULD I EAT MY FRESHLY BAKED GOODS?

Our baked goods are fresh and made to be enjoyed right away. Eat them as soon as you get them, or freeze the bread/bagel products to savour them for longer. Please check the product pages for any specific care instructions.

SHOULD I REFRIGERATE MY KIMCHI, SAUERKRAUT OR GUT SHOT?

Yes! We recommend refrigerating any kimchi, sauerkraut or gut shot product as soon as you receive them to enjoy them at their best.

DELIVERY FAQs

HOW DO THINGS GET DELIVERED?

Once you place your order, we will pack it up and ship it to you.

We are currently using DPD, so the orders are typically delivered within 2-5 working days from the moment you place them. You will receive an email with a tracking link. Should you have any questions, don’t hesitate to contact us on support@delli.market.

WHERE DOES DELLI DELIVER?

Currently DELLI delivers nationwide across the UK (with the exception of the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man) via our close partnership with DPD. We are working on expanding DELLI outside of the UK, too.

DOES DELLI SHIP INTERNATIONALLY?

Unfortunately, we don’t offer international shipping just yet - but stay tuned as we’re currently working on that (hint hint).

DOES DELLI OFFER EXPEDITED DELIVERY?

No, we don’t currently offer expedited delivery - all orders are fulfilled within the speedy timeframe shown at checkout.

HOW CAN I TRACK MY ORDER?

You will receive a tracking number as soon as your order has been packed. You can follow any updates by tracking it here: https://track.dpd.co.uk/ . For further assistance, contact us at support@delli.market!

I PUT IN THE WRONG ADDRESS

Fixing a delivery address is easy. We can change the address on your order provided it hasn’t been packed yet. If you’ve already received tracking details, this means the order has been packed and is on its way. Get in touch with us as soon as possible at support@delli.market!

HELP! I ACCIDENTALLY REQUESTED FOR IT TO BE DELIVERED TO A PICKUP SHOP

Not to worry! We can change the delivery address if the order hasn’t been packed. Although if it has been, we are unfortunately unable to stop the delivery.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I’M NOT HOME FOR DELIVERY?

If you won’t be home for delivery — no problem! Using the DPD platform you can redirect your parcel to a pickup shop near you.

WHAT SHOULD I DO IF MY PARCEL IS RETURNED TO DELLI?

In the unlikely event that your parcel is returned to us, simply let us know and we can work it out. This can happen for a few reasons, such as:

  • An incomplete or incorrect address
  • Multiple failed delivery attempts
  • The package being unclaimed at the pickup point.

Unfortunately, we’re unable to reship returned parcels, but once it arrives at our warehouse and is processed, we’ll confirm your details and issue a refund.

HOW DO I BECOME A SELLER?

A few things you will need before you can become a seller on DELLI:

Your product must comply with the most recent food & any other relevant regulations for your category. This includes everything from food safety registration to product labels. Please note: we aren’t able to support all categories just yet, so get in touch to find out if we can stock your product on our marketplace!

You can deliver your product to our warehouse (located in Central London) safely.

From then on, it’s easy.

HOW DO I GET MY ITEMS DELIVERED TO THE CUSTOMER?

Once we’ve agreed to bring your products in-house, we’ll take care of fulfilling your customers’ orders. All you have to do is to deliver the pre-agreed products to us on time and give us information about you and your products.

We then curate your listings and manage deliveries to the end customers, including any potential issues that might arise when shipping from us to your buyers.

Please note that our current shipping partner ships with a ~2 day delivery window, so we can only accept and ship products that can last in transit. We will soon be expanding on this, so please hold tight and check back for updates here.

HOW DO I GET PAID?

It depends on whether you’re selling with us a consignment or wholesale

Consignment - you will ship your products to us, but keep full ownership of them whilst we warehouse and ship them. You will be paid the full retail price minus the pre-agreed commission, a few days after the buyer purchases the product. This is our go-to system as it generally suits smaller makers we tend to work with. You will need to give us your bank details as we onboard you so that we can transfer the funds directly to you.

Wholesale - we will agree typical terms, buy pre-agreed quantity at a pre-agreed wholesale price from you. You will invoice us and we will pay within pre-agreed term. We reserve this system for bigger makers.

HOW CAN I IMPROVE MY SALES?

First, make sure you provide us with all the necessary information on time. We want to hear the story behind your products, so that we can create a great listing and editorial content around it.

Second, share! We have seen a great success with sellers sharing on their social, in their newsletter. In that case, do not forget to link directly to your product, so that you buyers can find it easily. With a good sharing, some sellers sell out within hours and were able to grow from initially tens of units sold to now thousands!

A few practical tips:

Take a simple screenshot of your DELLI product after they’ve gone live, share this as a post or story, and make sure you add a link to your shop so that people can click straight through.

Leverage your network. We all have one, whether it’s your IG followers or a closed WhatsApp group of food lovers.

Add the link to your DELLI products to your bio or linktree.

Don’t just share once. It sometimes takes people a while to get the memo, sharing consistently with your products will build momentum and sales. Sharing about DELLI 2-3 times a week has the highest impact.

Encourage others to share too. If your buyer has had a good experience, ask them to shout you out.

On social media, tag @delli.market. If you tag us, it means we can repost and share with our community too.

Third, if we spot room for improvement, we will be in touch with suggestions! We are keen for you to succeed too!

I AM AT THE BEGINNING OF IT ALL, WHAT DO I DO?

1. Registered as a food business? Get going! Not registered yet? Register now - it is easy and free!

If you haven’t sold before, simply contact your local council here to register your food business. You will then get inspected and get your rating.

If you have not gotten trained in food safety yet, we recommend you take Level 2 Food Safety Training. It sounds scary but it really isn’t. And it will give you a good overview to get started! Find out more here.

In the UK, there are a number of resources and companies that offer food safety education and regulations help. You can always go to FSA to learn more!

2. Cook it! Bottle it!

Now that you’re all equipped on how to do things safely, just make your product and package it so that it can be shipped!
