Morello Cherries are used to make this intensely fruity and tart cherry preserve, which is packed with cherry pieces. The Morello cherry is a sour and bitter variety which is cooked in small batches for the shortest time possible to preserve their fresh fruity flavour. Then sugar is added to balance the tartness, and fresh lemon juice for the right level of acidity. Each jar is hand-filled, to ensure every single one is packed full of delicious cherry pieces.
