Red Panda started as two healthy Asian takeaways in Exeter and Lyme Regis, founded by James and Natalie McCarthy. Drawing from their combined culinary experience and passion for bold, wholesome flavours, they crafted their signature chilli crisp, initially offering it in refillable jars to their loyal local customers. As word spread and demand increased, they decided to scale up production responsibly. This led to the establishment of a small, sustainable facility on a wind-powered farm straddling the Devon-Dorset border creating only the most delicious chilli crisp.
