Dudu Thai Chilli Oil is a labour of love from a Chinese mother-daughter chef duo, inspired by their time living in Thailand and the search for a chilli oil infused with the rich aroma of Thai herbs.
Slow-cooked with galangal, lime leaf, lemongrass, shallots, and garlic, it’s a deeply fragrant oil with a naturally fermented, jammy umami base. With a satisfying heat and crunchy roasted peanuts, it brings a burst of authentic Thai fragrance to any dish. Add to noodles, soups, stir-fried greens, or fried eggs and rice - for its bold, aromatic flavour. |
Dudu Eats is the brainchild of celebrated chef Romany Henry who was born in Hong Kong and raised in Phuket. She has garnered a dedicated following online for her rich and fragrant recipes and makes chilli oil in small batches with her mum.

After tasting Dudu Thai Chilli Oil, I'm not sure I can use any other chilli oil. The Thai flavour is something else—bold, aromatic, and perfectly balanced with a delightful mix of heat and savoury notes. It adds an incredible depth to dishes, and the spices are perfectly infused into the oil. The heat is just right, enhancing the dish without overpowering it. I’m hooked on this one and don’t think I’ll go back to any other chilli oil!
