e5 Bakehouse began in a Hackney railway arch in 2010, when founder Ben returned from a short sourdough course and built a clay oven fuelled with local wood offcuts. Today, they’re a team of bakers making bread, cakes and coffee with ingredients grown in ecologically sound systems, working closely with like-minded farmers. Their mission is to share good food and knowledge openly, and help build a healthier, more sustainable food future.
