Mama Yu (余妈妈)

Mama Yu is a Malaysian Chinese chilli oil brand by Xien and her chef mum Jolene. Together, they make a range of handmade chilli oils using recipes passed down through their family. Having grown up in her mum’s takeaways and restaurants, Xien has always been immersed in the world of food. Xien says, “making chilli oil is our passion and being able to share this experience with my mum means so much to me.” Starting as an experiment in the kitchen, success quickly followed, and now Mama Yu’s chilli oil has become a must-have condiment that sells out within hours (sometimes minutes!). Xien and Jolene originally made 30 jars and one flavour to be sold exclusively on DELLI.
