Beetroots are a superfood with good reason. As well as being anti-inflammatory, they can also help to boost your energy. Dill has been suggested to have blood-sugar-lowering effects and is rich in antioxidants.
There are several ways to charge up your gut microbiome. For example, you can: - Drink a shot straight from the fridge mornings, evenings sip with meals - 1x 30ml serving is plenty for a positive daily impact. - Blend into salad dressings, dips and other foods to bring flavour and aid your digestion. Beetroot Hummus is a favourite. Simply blend lend a tin of chickpeas with 75ml of brine, tahini, olive oil, lemon, garlic, cooked beetroot, fresh dill, salt and pepper. - Mix into cocktails or mocktails.
Additionally, you can have a shot of brine before you go out drinking for the night to help prevent a hangover the next day, or the next day, to help cure the hangover. Sauerkraut brine is rich in electrolytes like sodium and potassium, which play a crucial role in maintaining proper fluid balance throughout the body.

Savvy Ferments was set up by Brighton-based couple Savvy and Stevo who wanted to create delicious raw, un-pasteurized sauerkrauts. Using a wild fermentation process; each batch is bursting with beneficial gut bacteria powered with anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. The company offer a range of bold flavour combinates including turmeric curry, Tom Yum Thai, jalapeño & lime, and fennel & chipotle.
