Hot Zos is a play on words and this hot sauce is a fruity yet subtle tasting condiment. Flavoured with tangy tamarind and spicy scotch bonnets, it is an ode to Filipino "Sinigang": a popular broth-based dish that's loved by many.

You can use this Hot Zos as a good foundation to make your own sinigang at home, however it is sa versatile sauce that you can use for marinating, drizzling and dipping.
ABOUT THE MAKER

Zosima aka Zos, or Mama Z on Instagram, is the chef-founder behind Mama Z. Mama Z was born out of Zos' love of cooking for friends and family, especially through the Filipino flavours that she herself loved growing up. Since 2018, she has been serving Filipino food at pop ups, markets, supper clubs and events, and in 2021, she opened Yes Lah in Manchester. During lockdown when she was out of work, she turned her focus to bottling the sauces she served on her menu - the Banana Ketchup and Hot Zos - which is now available for nationwide shipping!
