Spicy Mexican Pinto Bean Kit

Dried pinto beans, spices, dried chillis and bay leaves, to make Mexican-style spicy pinto beans, and also refried beans. The kit includes a recipe sheet with simple cooking instructions, so it's simple!

Mexican Cowboy Beans, known as 'frijoles de charros' are typical in Northern Mexico. It is a comforting, fiery and nourishing dish, delicious served with a fried egg on top.

To make it, all you need to do is slow cook the dried beans together with the spices provided, along with fresh onions, chillis and tomatoes.

If you have leftovers, you can make refried beans using the included sachet of smoked paprika.
