Sea Sisters' products are all sustainably sourced, and produced by hand in small batches in Dorset. This Cornish hake is a succulent white fish that has been preserved with butter and umami-rich dulse seaweed. This Conserva is best served warm: simply place the unopened can in freshly boiled water for a few minutes before serving on sourdough toast.
This hake is harvested from the certified hake fishery in Cornwall, England. The certification it has gained means it is well managed and sustainable.
ABOUT THE MAKER
Sea Sisters are the first manufacturers of canned fish in England since the 1940s. What begin in their home kitchen in Hackney during lockdown in 2020, they are now a craft cannery on the Jurassic Coast of West Dorset, and now produce a range of award-winning British conservas. Through their innovative recipe development, their mission is to inspire the public to eat locally landed species and support the British fishing industry.
