Rhubarb Soda

A small-batch rhubarb soda, using locally grown Yorkshire rhubarb, and rounded out with mixed peppercorns for a unique twist.

Oli and Ash, the team behind Sipp'd, visited the Cooks in the Yorkshire Rhubarb Triangle where they grow rhubarb in the dark, and hand-harvest it by candle light.

The delicious rhubarb was pressed to extract its juice, and paired with unrefined cane sugar, Essex sea salt, a dash of apple cider vinegar and finally black & pink peppercorns, for an added tingle on the tongue.

Serve chilled on its own, pair it with some gin or if you fancy something a bit fun and indulgent, try topping this soda with a chunky scoop of vanilla ice cream for a delicious float.
