These buttery green Gordal olives are salty and tangy, with a touch of gentle heat from the guindilla chillies in the marinade.
In 1964 Gaspar Perelló opened a stall in Barcelona’s famous Boqueria Market to sell the local Arbequina olives; his range grew, as did his reputation, and soon expanded to include some of the best olives from all over Spain. Brindisa, distributor of artisan Spanish foods, bought the company from their long-term supplier in 2016 to continue Gaspar Perelló’s work.
