Sambal is an all-purpose Malaysian spicy condiment. Each family has their own traditional recipe, and this is Emily’s Papa Yeoh’s version, passed down from his family. And now made by hand, in small batches in London!

Use as a marinade, or as a spicy condiment to add an umami hit to your final dishes. Try it stirred through noodles, soups and rice, or simply spooned over eggs. We love mixing with honey, and drizzling over charred leeks, for a perfectly sweet, spicy and smoky side dish 🍴

Keep your sauce refrigerated once opened and always use a clean dry spoon. If you follow these instructions, you sauce should last over 6 weeks, but we’re 100% sure you will love it so much, you’ll finish within days.
