This Namprik is a twist on a traditional condiment from northern Thailand: hot and crispy shallots and garlic. It's a super crunchy, salty, deeply savoury and umami topping, with a lick of fiery heat from Thai chillies.
Traditionally, this crispy salty topping is sprinkled over noodles, soups, stir-fries and rice dishes, as a garnish. It works well on many other Western dishes too: great on hotdogs and burgers, or even pasta dishes. Add an instant flavour hit, heat and texture to any homemade dish!
