Inspired by Dominique's Thai Auntie's recipe, this is Great Taste Award-winning paste is an "accidentally vegan" version of Nam Prik Pao - the quintessential Thai condiment.
It's rich with tangy tamarind and salty tamari. It is sweet, savoury and tangy all at once and adds a flavour bomb to Asian food!
Add to stir-fries, rice, noodles, use as a marinade on salmon, chicken and aubergines, or as a base for an Asian style broth.
Woolf’s Kitchen was founded by Dominique, a half-Thai food writer and content creator, who started the company in 2020 after trying her aunt’s legendary tamarind sauce and wanted to recreate her own. The brand now stocks a range of chilli oils and pastes for use throughout the kitchen.
