Founder Kay has over thirty years of experience making kimchi for family and friends. This original recipe has been handed down through generations of her family and is made with salted fermented Chinese cabbage. It is nutrient-dense with immune-boosting probiotics. Enjoy the crunchy, spicy taste mixed with steamed rice.
Ingredients for Original Baechu-Kimchi (배추김치): chinese cabbage, daikon radish, spring onion, onion, chili peppers, garlic, ginger, apple, rice powder, chili powder, salt, sugar, rice flour, dried kelp, anchovy sauce, shrimp paste, sesame seeds. For allergens please see ingredients in bold. Best to eat after 2 weeks to 1 month of fermentation from day of production, dependent on your taste. The longer it is fermented, the stronger the flavour. See packaging for production date. Once opened, keep refrigerated and consume within 1 month.
