Domaine Ricardelle de Lautrec is a family-run vineyard in Languedoc creating organic, biodynamic wines. Their Chardonnay is fresh and interesting, with ripe pear and blossom featuring alongside a subtle earthiness on the palate. Aged in stainless steel and stirred on the lees for 12 months, it has a smooth, rounded texture without being overly heavy. Perfect for sushi, roasted veggies, or a simple chicken dish. Certified organic and biodynamic, suitable for vegans, and with no added sulphites. ABV: 12.5%.
Domaine Ricardelle de Lautrec is located on a flat land in Languedoc which was the ancient bed of the River Aude. The soil is deep with clay and chalk, and there are still sources of water that roots can access. The plots also benefit from cool Tramontane winds. Lionel and Cathy Boutié run the vineyard with their two children, following organic practices since 1999 and now also biodynamic agriculture.
