ABOUT THE MAKER

Capparelli Artisan Pasta, founded in 2021 in Belfast, was born from a deep passion for authentic, handcrafted pasta. The journey began with a vision to share the rich tradition of Italian pasta-making, elevating the art of pasta craftsmanship across the UK and Ireland.

Carlos Capparelli, the founder, honed his culinary skills over nine years working closely with Yotam Ottolenghi, renowned chef-patron of the Ottolenghi group, including roles as head and executive chef at NOPI in London’s Soho. This experience deepened Carlos's commitment to quality and innovation, shaping the foundation of Capparelli Artisan Pasta.

The brand sources only the finest ingredients, working directly with farmers in Italy, Britain, and Ireland to ensure that every batch embodies the authentic flavors and craftsmanship that define Capparelli. This dedication to quality has garnered recognition, with Capparelli becoming finalists in the 2023 Blas na hÉireann Irish Food Awards and earning two stars at the 2024 Great Taste Awards.
