Syrah is all about the black fruit and warm spice characteristics. These grapes come from a coastal region called Walker Bay, which adds a fantastic freshness to the wines. If you're a fan of Northern Rhone whines, these will tick all the boxes for you. Black cherries, black plum, blue berries, and then black pepper, clove and nutmeg spice. Angus does some custom crush winemaking, meaning that he will be contracted to make wine for private labels. When this buyer fell through, he was stuck with a bunch of Syrah that was at a loose end, and we totally fell in love with the wine. So instead of it being sold for bulk wine, it was snapped up and used for the second collaboration. ABV: 14%
