Chimac’s Sriracha Caramel marries sweet caramel, fresh garlic and spicy Sriracha to create a perfectly balanced sauce. It's a sweet but spicy syrup that’s surprisingly moreish. The sweetness of their house-made caramel is married with a level of soy-based salt and spice, that leaves you with this highly addictive, sweet-umami sauce.
Pour it over rice bowls, dip your dumplings into it, pour over pancakes, marinade pork, bacon or rashers, or simply sip it straight-up. No-one's judging.
ABOUT THE MAKER
Chimac makes Korean-inspired sauces and fried chicken in Dublin, Ireland. The brand started life in 2016 after founders Sofie Rooney and Garret FitzGerald fell in love with Korean fried chicken in Seoul. They now offer stand-alone restaurants in Ireland and a range of products built with bold, punchy flavours.
