Janet 2022: Malvasia Skin Contact Wine, London

Renegade Urban Winery is a rebellious, London-based winery that crafts bold, unconventional wines in the heart of the city, turning traditional winemaking on its head. A textured, golden-coloured wine with nutty, honey and savoury aromas. Fermented on skins for 15 days, then another week before being pressed off. It was then transferred to oak barrels, where it aged for 7 months and underwent full malolactic conversion. ABV: 12.5%
