Founded by Xuan, EAT MALA is a Chinese condiment brand rooted in the bold flavour of Chongqing, China’s spicy food capital. After moving to the UK as a teenager, Xuan craved the tastes of home and discovered a need in the UK for authentic and modern Chinese condiments. Drawing on family recipes and her unique cross-cultural experience, she created EAT MALA’s signature crispy chilli oil. Capturing the essence of “MALA” - Chinese for “tingling and spicy”, this condiment adds a bold kick to elevate any dish. All their sauces are MSG free, gluten-free, and vegan-friendly.
