A modern and sophisticated take on an old classic. Just like the classic, the primary flavour is the iconic Italian almond-based Amaretto liqueur. The crucial change in this recipe is the addition of a small splash of bourbon whiskey. The richness of the whiskey balances the sweetness of the amaretto, making the cocktail an intoxicating mix of sweet, sour and nutty flavours.
Shake with ice and strain into an ice-filled rocks glass.
ABV 20%.
Kocktail was founded by two best friends in 2020, out of a desire to enjoy their favourite cocktails from the comfort of home.
They teamed up with their friend and international award-winning former senior bartender at the Savoy Hotel's Beaufort Bar to create and launch a collection of fresh, bar-quality bottled cocktails.
Now, all of Kocktail's drinks are made in small batches by their team of award-winning bartenders in Newcastle Upon Tyne, using premium ingredients and spirits.
