Collection: Prawn on the Lawn

Prawn on the Lawn is an independently owned business established in 2013, using funds left by a grandparent. It began with a small fishmonger and a few bar stools in Islington, and in 2015, opened a second branch in Padstow.

In 2018, they launched their sister restaurant, Barnaby's, also in Padstow, and in 2024 added Little Prawn, a seafood bar in Padstow. Rick, who previously worked Front of House in restaurants, and Katie, who worked in the music industry, founded the company with a shared passion for sustainable seafood. The business serves seafood small plates, sourcing fish and seafood sustainably from Cornwall and Devon. They also grow much of their own herbs and vegetables in their garden and polytunnel in Cornwall, including the chillies and black beans used in their hot sauces.
