The use of coconut sugar is what makes this jam different. The dark brown sugar adds a deep caramel flavour, bringing complexity of flavour along with the usual sweetness you'd expect in a jam. The toffee tones of the coconut sugar, combined with the sweetness of strawberries and the botanical notes of the gin really make the flavours of this fruity, juicy jam sing.
Serve with a classic slice of buttered toast, swirled through a steaming bowl of porridge, or dolloped over yogurt and granola.
